The Benson Museum of Local History was established in 1987 to correct preserve, and display items of historical significance related to the Benson area community. Retrace Benson's roots with a collection of railroad memorabilia, antiques, quilts, farming and hardware artifacts. Enjoy the extensive pictorial
and newspaper collection depicting lives of local families, homes and churches.

Open Mon.- Fri., from 9:00am until 5:00pm. Free admission, free parking, not wheelchair accessible.  Benson Museum of Local History is located in the Municipal Building which also houses the Benson Chamber of Commerce, Town Hall and W.J. Barefoot Auditorium.
