An eastern North Carolina farm
heritage museum, recreating a way of fife that is fast being forgotten. Artifacts from all
aspects of farm life - household goods, clothing, musical instruments, books, and family
records are displayed along with the agricultural tools used by the families. A restored
farmstead with main house, detached kitchen, smoke house, |

and Tobacco barn
depicts rural life as it was during the Great Depression era. The gift shop offers
unusual souvenirs and handcrafted items from Johnston County craftsmen. Picnic area with
public restrooms. Museum building is wheelchair accessible, restored farm structures are
